Package: mpd Version: 0.14.2 Severity: wishlist Since mpd can only play one audio stream at a time to a single output or set of outputs, having an init system that made it easy to launch multiple instances of mpd would be helpful. Such a system could be structured like openvpn and other similar systems are structured. Configuration files could live in /etc/mpd/instancename.conf. The start/stop logic would simply start/stop each instance in turn.
