I am attaching the tarball of /proc/device-tree. While creating the tar I received some errors like - "/proc/device-tree: file changed as we read it". So I am not sure if the tar ball is complete. By the way, Ubuntu 9.04 detected the sound card properly. But I don't know which part of Ubuntu installer differs in detection aspect from Debian installer. Onkar
