Package: ejabberd
Version: 2.0.5-1
Severity: wishlist

        Hi!

Running ejabberd for different virtual hosts is convenient. Giving each
of them their own auth backend works too - but it would be much more
convenient for postgres to be able to _not_ being forced to use
different databases but rather to just use different schemas within the
same database. That way one can keep stuff together where it belongs. :)

I guess this would also go in the direction of #507144 of requiring
postgres driver instead of only the odbc layer. I guess a
ejabberd-modules package would actually make sense, and personally
I could get convinced to help out if its because of low ressources.
I don't think that it would require immensly much efforts but I guess
the overall benefit would be great. That could address #451345 too.

We can discuss further in private mail, if you prefer. ;)
Rhonda
