Package: whizzytex
Version: 1.3.1-3
Severity: wishlist

What the user gets out of the box by installing whizzytex is not
(necessarily) working, because whizzytex default configuration relies
on advi which is not necessarily installed.

While it is totally reasonable not to require advi as a dependency for
whizzytex (as it is not so), as a user I expect the default whizzytex
configuration to work with what is installed for sure with whizzytex,
namely: xdvi.

Can you please consider one of the two options:

- use xdvi by default no matter what
- have a configuration which *prefers* advi if it is installed over
xdvi, but that falls back to it if it is not the case

FWIW, README.Debian currently says to "consult the manual on how to
change the viewer". Given how messy is the whizzytex configuration (3
blocks to be configured, 3 configuration files in multiple location,
...) I think more help is needed in README.Debian. Can you please add
there a line on how to change default viewers?

Many thanks for maintaining whizzytex!,
Cheers.
