Package: ftp.debian.org Severity: normal Prom-Mew is additional software for Mew. The original version is for Mew 2.0. One of the users wrote the patch for Mew 3.2. But there are no longer maintained by upstream.
Mew has been reached to version 6.2 and the code is absolutely different from older version. Prom-Mew has been no longer usable for a long time but nobody raised bug reports. So, I guess this package is no longer needed.
