I can't reproduce it either. I built the package on i386, amd64 and
armel (all in a sid cowbuilder chroot) and again for armel (with a
qemubuilder sid chroot on i386). No problems :/

I've committed a patch to use tmpdir() instead of $ENV{ HOME } (and
clean up after the test).
