Package: initramfs-tools Version: 0.93.2 Severity: important
update-initramfs breaks since /etc/mtab is a symlink to /proc/mounts on this system. The normal Debian init scripts (like mtab.sh) take special care to continue working in that case and the initramfs-tools documentation does not mention this case to be unsupported, so I'm assuming it's supposed to work (thus severity important instead of wishlist).
