Package: fontforge Version: 0.0.20090408-1 Severity: wishlist The new fontforge is great, with neat anti-alias drawings.
However, my eyes appear to be a little color-blind after working with it for a while. The pale cyan, yet almost white, background makes me see all white backgrounds in other windows as pink. While pale cyan background may be considered better for the eyes than the bright white (I don't know the real reason behind the color choosing, just a pure guess), I think it's better to use gray colors than eye-deceiving ones. Or alternatively, it might be nice to be able to choose the background color. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=th_TH.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=th_TH.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages fontforge depends on: ii libc6 2.9-7 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcairo2 1.8.6-2+b1 The Cairo 2D vector graphics libra ii libfontconfig1 2.6.0-3 generic font configuration library ii libfontforge1 0.0.20090408-1 runtime library for FontForge ii libfreetype6 2.3.9-4.1 FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib ii libgdraw4 0.0.20090408-1 runtime library for FontForge ii libgif4 4.1.6-6 library for GIF images (library) ii libglib2.0-0 2.20.1-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libice6 2:1.0.5-1 X11 Inter-Client Exchange library ii libjpeg62 6b-14 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii libpango1.0-0 1.24.0-3+b1 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libpng12-0 1.2.35-1 PNG library - runtime ii libsm6 2:1.1.0-2 X11 Session Management library ii libspiro0 20071029-2 a library for curve design ii libtiff4 3.8.2-11 Tag Image File Format (TIFF) libra ii libuninameslist0 0.0.20080409-1 a library of Unicode annotation da ii libx11-6 2:1.2.1-1thep1 X11 client-side library ii libxft2 2.1.13-3 FreeType-based font drawing librar ii libxml2 2.7.3.dfsg-1 GNOME XML library ii python2.5 2.5.4-1 An interactive high-level object-o ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-13 compression library - runtime fontforge recommends no packages.
