mc-laptop:~# bunzip2 fglrx.tar.bz2 && tar xf fglrx.tar && \
dd if=/dev/zero of=modules/zero.txt count=1024 && \
tar cjf fglrx.tar.bz2 modules && tar tjf fglrx.tar.bz2
Go figure... By the way, fglrx.tar.bz2 comes from:
mc-laptop:~# dpkg -S fglrx.tar.bz2
fglrx-source: /usr/src/fglrx.tar.bz2
So the problem is specific to that particular archive or set of archived
files.
I have a feeling that this going to be one of those "unreproducible" bugs.
