No, I'm not considering taking over advi. At that time I reported the
bug I was experimenting with advi and in that course reported the bug.
I haven't worked with advi ever since and do not see me working with
it in the (near) future.
Maybe before RFA'ing this bug you could consider handing it forward to
upstream (if that is possible, from the replies I gather this might
not be feasible).
