Please check if you can reproduce this with 0.140-2.
Please either test 0.140-2 or the new lenny package from
http://www.bofh.it/~md/debian/ or close the bug
Mmhh, I've tried to reproduce it first using the original package from
Lenny. In the first try, I've just removed 70-persistent-net.rules, in
the second run, I've just removed the two instances with driver bnx2.
After both tests, a reboot generated a valid 70-persistent-net.rules file.
Without being able to reproduce this bug with the current version, I
don't think testing the new packages will tell if this has been fixed.
If you could give me hints how to reproduce this problem without
re-installing, I'll give it a try. Otherwise feel free to close this
bug, as I won't be able to do a reinstall on this one (in production
already...)
Thank you anyway!
Regards, Simon
