Package: avfs Version: 0.9.8-6 Severity: normal
Hello; avfs has a bug: ./configure fails to check that libfuse-dev is installed, so the configuration and build (if libfuse-dev is missing) might seem to complete, but critical executables won't be created such as avfsd; ./configure should abort with an appropriate error message if the fuse library headers cannot be found. It should also probably check that fuse applications can be built. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers oldstable APT policy: (500, 'oldstable'), (59, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.24-etchnhalf.1-486 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages avfs depends on: ii fuse-utils 2.5.3-4.4 Filesystem in USErspace (utilities ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-13etch9+b1 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libfuse2 2.5.3-4.4 Filesystem in USErspace library avfs recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
