Hi, I'm just going through the old acpid bug reports to see whether they still apply. Given that acpid and the kernel were changed quite a it since you reported the bug, could you please try again and tell us whether the problem still persists?
If it does, what happens if you remove the lid event handling? Does acpid still get all those lid events?
