Package: mscore Version: 0.9.4+dfsg-1 Severity: normal Hi!
I think that the mscore script doesn't work correctly in my case. I don't have pulseaudio og jack installed on my system. The mscore script prints: t...@tmac ~$ mscore /usr/bin/mscore: line 9: list: command not found Using JACK for audio On my system, the script should not enter the "if $PULSEAUDIO" block, but it does. For me, the $PULSEAUDIO variable is empty: t...@tmac ~$ pgrep -f pulseaudio t...@tmac ~$ I'm not sure how to modify this, since I don't have pulseaudio installed, so I don't know the result of "pgrep -f pulseaudio" in that case. In practice it doesn't matter, since the script only runs a simple mscore.real command anyway. But the output on the terminal is a bit confusing, and the error message is a but "unesthetic", and could maybe lead users in the wrong direction when they are trying to debug audio problems with mscore :-) Best regards Torquil Sørensen -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (700, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.29-1-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages mscore depends on: ii libasound2 1.0.19-1 shared library for ALSA applicatio ii libc6 2.9-7 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.3.3-8 GCC support library ii libjack0 0.116.1-4 JACK Audio Connection Kit (librari ii libportaudio2 19+svn20071022-3 Portable audio I/O - shared librar ii libqt4-designer 4.5.0-2 Qt 4 designer module ii libqt4-network 4.5.0-2 Qt 4 network module ii libqt4-script 4.5.0-2 Qt 4 script module ii libqt4-svg 4.5.0-2 Qt 4 SVG module ii libqt4-xml 4.5.0-2 Qt 4 XML module ii libqtcore4 4.5.0-2 Qt 4 core module ii libqtgui4 4.5.0-2 Qt 4 GUI module ii libstdc++6 4.3.3-8 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii mscore-common 0.9.4+dfsg-1 Full featured WYSIWYG score editor ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-13 compression library - runtime Versions of packages mscore recommends: ii fluid-soundfont-gm 3.1-2 Fluid (R3) General MIDI SoundFont mscore suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
