Package: mscore Version: 0.9.4+dfsg-1 Severity: normal Hi! The same thing happened here, but only once... Now it seems to work.
I started mscore, chose to make a new score from scratch, with one guitar staff of 19 bars in A major, with 4/4 time signature. I closed the "Promenade" score that was open by default. I clicked on the 16th note symbol, but never touched the "Input mode" button. I tried some keyboard commands sine I don't know how to use mscore yet, e.g. the # symbol and s (thinking s = sharp), because I wanted to put in a f# note. For some reason mscore was ready to input the note even though I had not pushed the input mode button, because I could see the blue mouse pointer hovering graphics that is shown on the score, beside the mouse pointer. When I clicked to put the note in, mscore disappeared. But I'm not able to reproduce it by trying similar actions. I'm not exactly sure which keyboard buttons I pushed the first time. I'm also not sure if I had an old mscore configuration file from before or not...
