That's not what I wanted you to do :) Could you go to xfce4-keyboard-settings, then manually re-set *all* settings (checkbox for X stuff, keyboard model and keyboard layout). Then re-set all shortcuts. Then retry the logout stuff. Cheers, -- Yves-Alexis
