Does this bug still applies for you? As Carl said, it seems to be fixed. I tried in a LANG=cs_CZ.UTF-8 environment (the one you were using when reporting this bug), and it works fine: $ reportbug python-support ... 6) #518973 python-support: update-python-modules fails with "IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory" ... so it's either fix, or something is broken on your machine, but I'd like to hear first from you.
