Package: libcsoap-dev Version: 1.1.0-14.1 Severity: normal The file /usr/share/doc/libcsoap-dev/examples/nanohttp/httpget.c has several errors that prevent it from compiling. It appears to have been written for a significantly different version of libnanohttp.
The Makefiles for the example directory are also broken. I believe that there should be a very simple Makefile that demonstrates the most basic functionaliy, a Makefile so simple that someone who is a novice at writing Makefiles can determine every aspect of it's operation at a casual glance. Example code should be simple. Finally the nanohttp example file should probably be in libnanohttp-dev. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0.1 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-1-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) (ignored: LC_ALL set to C) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages libcsoap-dev depends on: ii libcsoap1 1.1.0-14.1 shared CSOAP library for SOAP clie ii pkg-config 0.22-1 manage compile and link flags for libcsoap-dev recommends no packages. libcsoap-dev suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
