Package: linux-patch-tuxonice Version: 3.0.1-2 Severity: important linux-patch-tuxonice/README-kernelpatch.Debian still mentions the kernel-patching-functionality of make-kpkg which has been removed in the current version of this package.
linux-patch-tuxonice does not document any alternative way to apply the kernel-patch, nor does kernel-package as far as I can tell, so it's a bit unclear at the moment how to apply linux-patch-tuxonice "the Debian way". The docs should be updated. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (950, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (200, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-2-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: lang=de...@euro, lc_ctype=de...@euro (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages linux-patch-tuxonice depends on: ii bash 3.2-5 The GNU Bourne Again SHell ii dctrl-tools [grep-dctrl] 2.13.1 Command-line tools to process Debi ii patch 2.5.9-5 Apply a diff file to an original Versions of packages linux-patch-tuxonice recommends: ii hibernate 1.99-1 smartly puts your computer to slee ii linux-source-2.6.29 2.6.29-3 Linux kernel source for version 2.
