That sounds like you actually looked for bugs, which makes this even

Yes, and it is for quite some time.
I was a little lazy about it, because 1.6 didn't bring too many new
stuff, it wouldn't have made it into the lenny release and the debian
package even had the one portability fix I was interested in, so the
fact that I didn't have enough time to package 1.6 in the past didn't
hurt too much.

I did find the time to package 1.6 a few days back and it'll
eventually get uploaded as soon as my sponsor looked at it and deems
it ready for upload (which I suspect it is).
