Package: xmonad Version: 0.8.1-3 Severity: normal As per subject. At least totem and evince are unable to go full screen within xmonad, no matter their placements being floating or tiled.
Totem seems to completely ignore the fullscreen command; evince enters a fake fullscreen mode where menu bar disappear, but the window is neither maximizer nor take over gnome panel space. Both applications are able to go fullscreen using a different window manager, i.e., metacity. Other applications, most notably mplayer, are on the contrary able to go fullscreen within xmonad without any particular problem.
