-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Setting VteTerminalEraseBinding to VTE_ERASE_ASCII_DELETE will resolve the problem. Thanks to Tetralet <tetralet AT gmail DOT com> for the information.
In evilvte, you may #define BACKSPACE_KEY DELETE, which will use VTE_ERASE_ASCII_DELETE as VteTerminalEraseBinding. I have used VTE_ERASE_ASCII_DELETE for about 3 weeks, and does not find any adverse consequence. I think it is safe to close this bug once the new upload set VteTerminalEraseBinding to VTE_ERASE_ASCII_DELETE. I will provide a hotkey or a menu to toggle it in 0.4.5 (as upstream author), but I hope I can push 0.4.4-1 to Sid before the 0.4.5 release. :-) Kind regards Wen-Yen Chuang (caleb) -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iEYEARECAAYFAknkF8QACgkQdEpXpumNYVmiIwCcDr9H6esU39NCnjMsvxFJONsj yQ0Anj1/W+tTZf+8IyyVjmLVxe9gg+A7 =Ttlg -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
