I see.. you're using 7z to make a gzip formatted archive, that's an option I didn't know about. I haven't found a combination of options that makes 7z 4.65 on linux produce the same compressed byte stream, though based on the file size, I suspect you might be using compression level 7 instead of 9? -- see shy jo
