Package: nvidia-glx Version: 180.44-1 Severity: important I have built nvidia-kernel-source_180.44-1 with m-a a-i nvidia-kernel-source on my vanilla 2.6.29.1 kernel. Everything went fine, but today I tried to update with aptitude dist-upgrade. It said that nvidia-glx depends on nvidia-kernel-180.44
My nvidia-kernel package is called nvidia-kernel-2.6.29.1 I think that the dependencies are wrong for nvidia-glx. -- Package-specific info: uname -r: Linux prefect 2.6.29.1 #1 SMP PREEMPT Sat Apr 11 08:53:42 CEST 2009 i686 GNU/Linux /proc/version: Linux version 2.6.29.1 (r...@prefect) (gcc version 4.3.3 (Debian 4.3.3-7) ) #1 SMP PREEMPT Sat Apr 11 08:53:42 CEST 2009 /proc/driver/nvidia/version: 03:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation GeForce 8500 GT (rev a1) -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.29.1 (SMP w/2 CPU cores; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=de_AT.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_AT.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages nvidia-glx depends on: ii libc6 2.9-6 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.3.3-7 GCC support library ii libgl1-mesa-glx [libgl 7.4-2 A free implementation of the OpenG ii libx11-6 2:1.2.1-1 X11 client-side library ii libxext6 2:1.0.4-1 X11 miscellaneous extension librar pn nvidia-kernel-180.44 <none> (no description available) ii x11-common 1:7.4+1 X Window System (X.Org) infrastruc ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-13 compression library - runtime nvidia-glx recommends no packages.
