Package: whois Version: 4.7.32 Severity: minor Tags: patch Hello, when checking the whois record for a newly registered domain I saw, that whois doesn't display all allowed characters [0] correctly, namely German umlauts like the »ä« in my name. They were shown as an »?«.
I believe I've fixed that problem with the version available from [1]. I'd like to ask you to upload it to the Debian archives. Please note, that if I shouldn't get an answer to this report, either accepting the fix or rejecting it, I'll go ahead an post a RFS to debian-mentors. Thank you in advance.
