I asked the python-support maintainer (in french as I know him personnaly,
so you was not in CC). He confirms me that he did not change anything in
python-support recently. However, he also told me that there have been
lots of changes in cdbs regarding python support. I did not do anything more
for now.
I'm planning to contact (bug report ?) cdbs and/or rewrite the mercurial
packaging with dh7 directly. But nothing is done for now.

  Regards,
    Vincent
