--- Please enter the report below this line. --- Running kile with the command line kile /tmp/somefile.tex --line 1 where /tmp/somefile.tex is a blank file, causes the status bar to become corrupted. In particular, it causes an additional "Line/Column/Insert" state entry to appear.
