Package: mail-notification
Version: 5.4.dfsg.1-1
Severity: normal

Some of the options mentioned in the man page are not understood by the
binary. These are:
       -l --list-features List compiled-in features.
-m --display-mail-summary Display the mail summary dialog.
-c --close-popup Close the mail summary popup.
-r --report Report the mail status.

Option -r is recognized but interpreted as "Consider new mail as read"

According to the output of --help the binary understands these parameters
in addition to those mentioned in the man page:
        --display=DISPLAY X display to use
        -s, --print-summary Print a XML mail summary

The man page mentions 2004 as its year of creation. Probably, it simply
received no update when the options of the app were changed.
