Package: libpam-runtime Version: 1.0.1-9 Severity: important While this is not RC, as policy does not forbid user interaction, is there any way that this package could ask the user about which PAM modules to use (I think that was the question, as I was upgrading from 1.0.1-7 to 1.0.1-9) via debconf questions in the config script rather than interrupt the installation during the postinst? I left my machine unattended during an install, only to find that it had stopped very shortly afterwards waiting for input on the libpam-runtime question.
