This file is really not supposed to exist. Probably you have a buggy
package or a cron script that blindly compiles every Python script under
/usr/share.
Can you show the dpkg logs of the day in question, i.e. run
zgrep ^2009-01-28 /var/log/dpkg.log*
to see which packages were installed then? Also, you may grep for
"python" in /etc/cron.{dai,week,month}ly.
