If you have Radeon and select another driver the xwindow system will not work or monitor will show 60Hz and no more. When radeon driver name is written directly into XF86Config-4 file everything works fine. I think you just forgot to include the "radeon" option into driver selection menius. It took me 2 days to find out how to fix the problem.
