() >From a user perspective, I think the problem has occured because I have not >realised there is a default project with a repo pointing to >http://subcommander.tigris.org/svn/subcommander/trunk and have inadvertently >loaded my own URI under this tree, and can thus easily be avoided by closing >the default Subcommander project first. However, I believe a core dump is still a problem. Then, in thinking I was only having an edge case, I removed the default project, made a completely new project, and attempted to add my own URI under that. The URI I am using is of the form file:///work/some/repo. So I though I'd try the "..." button, and entered file:///work/ as the start of the URI and pressed the "..." button, and had another core dump. This time with the message: subcommander: /tmp/buildd/subversion-1.5.1dfsg1/subversion/libsvn_subr/path.c:119: svn_path_join: Assertion `is_canonical(base, blen)' failed. () So there is a bug processing file:/// URL from the UI for browsing when selecting a new repo. After working out to avoid this core dump by simply pasting the entire URI I have been able to browse my REPO without any further problems. Also note, my uri file:///work/some/repo, /work is actually a symlink to removable media under /mnt (which was mounted at the time) so I dont know if there is an issue with symlinks or not. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0 APT prefers oldstable APT policy: (500, 'oldstable'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages subcommander depends on: ii libapr1 1.2.12-5 The Apache Portable Runtime Librar ii libaprutil1 1.2.12+dfsg-8 The Apache Portable Runtime Utilit ii libc6 2.7-18 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.3.2-1.1 GCC support library ii libneon26 0.26.4-2+b1 An HTTP and WebDAV client library ii libqt3-mt 3:3.3.8b-5 Qt GUI Library (Threaded runtime v ii libssl0.9.8 0.9.8g-15 SSL shared libraries ii libstdc++6 4.3.2-1.1 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libsvn1 1.5.1dfsg1-2 Shared libraries used by Subversio ii libuuid1 1.41.3-1 universally unique id library ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-12 compression library - runtime subcommander recommends no packages.
