As far as I can tell or remember, libcsoap has not come out with a new
release in many years;

I am not upstream; the latest version is 1.1.0 and I cannot remember a
release in recent time.  However, if you would like to make a patch
for this extremely important functionality I can probably apply it
using quilt in the Debian package and make a new release.  Best
