pusling confirms on irc that removeing --enable-debug in combination with our patch to use the system ffmpeg library causes think linker failiure. This is yet to be confirmed, but does someone from the mips porters have some idea what could be going on here? for pkg-multimedia, this means that we most probably need disable the configure switch --enable-debug on mipsen. This means that we cannot provide a functional mplayer-dbg package for mipsen. If that is really the case, then this bug should be retitled "--enable-debug causes FTBFS on mipsen when linking to a shared libavcodec" both in debian and upstream. Another possibility would be that our ffmpeg packages are slightly broken on mips. However since other application do link fine, I don't find this very likely. -- Gruesse/greetings, Reinhard Tartler, KeyID 945348A4 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
