Package: gnome-power-manager Version: 2.22.1-4 Severity: normal dimming on idle works, but when blanking the screen, backlight is undimmed. at least in the case of 'blank only' this seems weird and wastes power (the display does not support dpms, in case dpms is usually triggered before undimming this behaviour probably can't be noticed, dunno). when blanking (at least in case of 'blank only'), dimming to 0 should be done instead (at least optionally). this is also true for 2.24.4-1 (which i'm not using because it won't suspend on idle and won't suspend or call the interactive dialog on button press).
