Alright. So the branding will be removed as soon as desktop-base is removed? Or maybe another package, debian-brading, should be introduced (maybe even from the desktop-base source) that also contains branded splash screens for e.g. gimp, ooo, etc. I think a similar approach has once been presented on planet.d.o.
