It's not pristine-tar's job to filter out files from the tarball. pristine-tar's job is to commit the exact same tarball given as argument. git-import-orig has a filter option and I expect that the filter option filters effectively the tarball before giving it to pristine-tar. Otherwise, I'll have a tarball in pristine-tar branch having more files than what was committed in the upstream branch.
