as you know, gqview is dead and geeqie is its successor. I'm going to ask for its removal soon. However, in order to make lenny->squeeze upgrades as smoth as possible, it would be nice if you could add a transitional package for gqview to geeqie. Note that since you do not add a new binary package to the archive, you will not have to go through NEW for this, however, since gqview has a higher version than geeqie, the latter needs to introduce an epoche in order to do this. I've attached a patch for that. Let me know what you think. In case you like it, please go ahead and upload it - once the geeqie with gqview transitional package is accepted, i'm going to ask for the removal of gqview (other way round would need geeqie to require to pass NEW for the transitional package). Btw, one could also add a gqview -> geeqie symlink in /usr/bin (and for the manpage), let me know if you want me to send another patch for that as well.
