Package: gimp
Version: 2.4.7-1
Severity: normal

I am using gimp to edit jpg images. These are line drawings that I am
trying to add some color and text to. If I switch from the Paintbrush
tool to the Text tool, enter text, and then switch back to the
Paintbrush tool, the tool appears to be "on," but I am no longer able to
use it. I can move it around on the image, but it ceases to "paint" any
colors onto the image. If it helps, I am using the "Felt Pen" brush,
and this error does not happen every time I switch back and forth.
Also, when I switch to the Text tool, I am changing the color to Black
before using it, and am then switching to another color before trying to
use the Paintbrush again. Saving the image, exiting gimp, and starting
it up again clears the problem.
