Today I discovered that I have the letter µ on my keyboard :-) Before
that I copied this character out of GNOME Character Map (Gucharmap). Its
unicode number is 03bc.

In fact there is a difference between copying from unicode and entering
it by keyboard. The latter doesn't damage the note text.

So it is not a bug but a feature :-)

The PDA does not use UTF but a local encoding.
Do if you use a character that can't be represented on the Palm the character is removed and the text is truncated.

What do you think the program should do instead?

Bye
