Any point in trying to get this included into the next point release of Debian? I seem to remember IPv6 support is a release goal of Debian, and the above changes look simple enough to my eyes... Now to try building it. Errr... Looks like I have encountered a completely unrelated bug in one on the build depends - texlive-base-bin - it won't install on either my intrepid or lenny build (chroot) systems :-(. So I will have to solve that one first...
