Wireshark shows me, that Firefox 3.0.6 requests: http://safebrowsing.clients.google.com/safebrowsing/downloads?client=Iceweasel&appver=3.0.6&pver=2.2&wrkey=xxxxxxx But Iceweasel 3.0.6 requests: http://safebrowsing.clients.google.com/safebrowsing/downloads?client=navclient-auto-ffox&appver=3.0.6&pver=2.2&wrkey=xxxxxxx Because of this, I replaced the value of the key browser.safebrowsing.provider.0.updateURL: http://safebrowsing.clients.google.com/safebrowsing/downloads?client={moz:client}&appver={moz:version}&pver=2.2 with http://safebrowsing.clients.google.com/safebrowsing/downloads?client=navclient-auto-ffox&appver={moz:version}&pver=2.2 And after that, Iceweasel downloads the safebrowsing data without any problems.
