Hello Rebecca, and sorry for the time it took me to get back to you. I think the problem you're encountering comes from the three ffmpeg-related libraries: | ii libavcodec51 | ii libavformat52 | ii libavutil49 I've just uploaded 2.48a to unstable, built against newer ffmpeg, which could hopefully solve your problem. It should appear on your mirrors in the next few hours (it needs to be installed in the archive, and built for various architectures). I'd appreciate if you could get back to me once you've upgraded it, so that I know whether your bug is fixed. As a bonus, it'd be very nice if you could play with various audio files, since I doubt my patch for the API change is sufficient.
