Package: mailcheck
Version: 1.91.2-2
Severity: important

Mailcheck only sends the following login line to an IMAP server
(discovered with tshark):

a001 LOGIN username

which is answered by the IMAP servers I use by:

(server: imap://stmail.uni-bayreuth.de )
a001 BAD Invalid arguments

and

(server: imap://imap.googlemail.com )
a001 BAD Not enough arguments provided (...)

The correct form would be:
a001 LOGIN username password

I have supplied the neccessary credentials in my ~/.netrc

Regards,
Martin
