The original string in src/enquiry.c (assert_version_support) was wrong depending on how the function was called, as other values could be used instead, but weren't. I know that the current string "epoch" is less than ideal, and it should get fixed at some point when we review all current strings. At the time of the commit I thought about using "working epoch support", "working long filenames support", etc, instead, I guess that might be better. That's one of the reasons I didn't really want to update the .po files yet.
