The ImageMagick version is read from its configure.xml (generally located at /usr/lib/ImageMagickVERSION/config/configure.xml). >From what I can see, it's somehow reading an old configure.xml file (like an old ImageMagick libmagick package installed) or from somewhere else; for example, the user can have a file /home/user/.magick/configure.xml. Dr. Tino, I would like two more outputs, please: ls /usr/lib/ImageMagick*/config/configure.xml strace convert -version 2>&1 | grep configure.xml The output of these commands will help us to understand what is happening with your ImageMagick.
