Pidgin not only uses 100% after logout. But performing simple tasks like, close to iconbar or opening a chat window, can already case 100% cpu use. I use pidgin 2.5.5-1 Every 2.5.x version of pidgin has this problem for me. The bug report below is made by using gdb and pidgin-gdb. I followed the instructions on the pidgin bug reporting page. result: #0 0xb7f5c424 in __kernel_vsyscall () #1 0xb75e3866 in gettimeofday () from /lib/i686/cmov/libc.so.6 #2 0xb77e4831 in g_get_current_time () from /usr/lib/libglib-2.0.so.0 #3 0xb77e4a0b in g_source_get_current_time () from /usr/lib/libglib-2.0.so.0 #4 0xb77e4b6d in ??
