Package: gnome-doc-utils
Version: 0.12.2-1
Severity: important

Hi all,
while using xml2po to recover an old french translation of a manual, xml2po
crashed telling me that there was an error when translating an unicode
character:

UnicodeDecodeError: 'ascii' codec can't decode byte ...

I found a workaround: I simply broke the files in two chapters by adding
an end of chapter and a new chapter tag immediately after...

I attached a copy of the files that triggers the error: in the tar-gzipped
file there is a directory (reveal-bug) where to find the command that
generate the error (command.sh); in another directory (workaround1)
I reported the files slightly modified in order to complete
the job without errors with the usual command (command.sh).
