I have the same problem accessing the bluetooth system.
When i start kbluetooth as normal user in netdev group, the frontend
behaves as if there is no bluetoothdevice connected. When starting
as root, everything is fine and i can even browse my phone.
By disconnecting the dongle i produce a crash of kbluetooth as in
#493024.
We traced it to kblueplugd. Calling kblueplugd in a terminal shows:
