The message comes from the update-inetd program and I agree it is
unclear what will happen when one chooses the option "No". I've just
checked that it will just exit with error code 1, thus making the
upgrade process to fail.

In my opinion update-inetd should offer to the user to replace the
existing entry with a new one, and it would be great if the question had
at least three states: "leave existing entry", "replace with a new one",
"abort installation to fix the discrepancy manually". It would be a very
similar approach to the one used by dpkg for configuration file management.

Best Regards,
robert
